We are based at HSE’s Science and Research Centre in Buxton, one of the best equipped testing and evaluation facilities in the world.
We test to British and international standards or can devise bespoke tests to your specifications and work flexibly to your testing schedules.

Reference materials
Reference materials are authoritative, stable, and homogeneous physical samples of known composition and/or particle size as relevant. They are designed for method development, instrument calibration, and quality control in research and industry. They ensure measurement traceability, support validation of methods, and enable comparison against unknown samples.
Environmental sampling kits
Environmental sampling requires specific sampling media to ensure valid and reliable results. We offer a range of appropriate air sampling filters and wipe materials. Be sure to order the correct material for your requirements; if you are unsure, please contact us before ordering. Please note that we generally do not provide sampling heads (unless specified); if you require these as well, please contact us before ordering.
Isocyanates analysis biological monitoring kits
We offer a full range of urinary isocyanate analyses for online ordering. Price includes the sampling kit (including return postage), the analysis and the report plus brief interpretation of the result. There is no need to order a sample kit separately, it is included in the analysis price. The sample bottle contains a preservative (citric acid); please only use our supplied bottles for providing samples. Please ensure that you order the correct tests and only order for the isocyanates in use on the day of sampling. If you are unsure which tests are needed, please contact us before ordering.
Metals/inorganics analysis biological monitoring kits
We offer a full range of urinary metal analyses for online ordering. Price includes the sampling kit (including return postage), the analysis and the report plus brief interpretation of the result. There is no need to order a sample kit separately, it is included in the analysis price. Please do not use your own sample bottles; ours have been tested to ensure no trace metal contamination.
Organics analysis biological monitoring kits
We offer a full range of urinary organic analyses for online ordering. Price includes the sampling kit (including return postage), the analysis and the report plus brief interpretation of the result. There is no need to order a sample kit separately, it is included in the analysis price. When ordering solvents such as MEK, MIBK, dichloromethane or toluene, please ensure the bottles are filled to the shoulder to minimise losses in transit (due to their volatile nature).

We offer a range of other services, including other shipment options for sample kits (next day delivery, overseas) and reviews of safety data sheets for relevant isocyanates to be tested.
